The overall role of the i-systems corporation Groupware Consultant is to perform technical consulting services to achieve the desired result, while maintaining quality consistent with company standards.
The Groupware Consultant focuses effort primarily on providing technical design, assembly, installation and troubleshooting of network systems to clients, research and development of emerging technologies, and continuous education in his/her discipline. Secondarily the Groupware Consultant will participate in refining related internal systems and processes, and assist i-systems corporation in maintaining a reliable and fully functional state of the art internal network. Motivation, tenacity, interpersonal abilities, and strong troubleshooting skills are key to this position.
Technical Consulting
The following technical consulting services may be offered at the client site(s) or performed at i-systems corporation headquarters. Because of the nature and high impact of network systems, these services may need to be performed during evening hours, and/or weekends.
- Consult client needs and design network systems to meet those needs, while maintaining company standards.
- Perform assembly, installation and configuration of network related hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot existing hardware and software systems.
- Manage both short and long term projects to completion.
- Provide detailed information on work performed for time/billing purposes, and to supplement knowledge base.
